Hey, we've been experiencing some clarity issues with many of our players rolls, so I have decided to make this as clear as possible. You are required to download the file below. If the format provided in the file is not used, your posts will be deleted. This only pertains to posts made after the introduction of the file.

Skill Sheet

Download and open the file titled Skill Sheet. If there are any issues, leave a message below. Any editor like Notepad should open it. With it open please follow along:

Open whatever document you have made for your code. This new file will replace that file. Let's look at the first header: Three Attempts for a Single Success.

Three Attempts for a Single Success
This means that you are attempting to execute a skill once, but that you are willing to try three times to get it right once. Most players will find that this works great for non-rapid succession skills as well as Novice skills. Wherever you see the text YourName, replace that text with your character's name. Also, wherever you see InsertSkill, exchange that text with your skill's name.

Note that these are set to be Novice skills. Please change the success/fail ratio as necessary. This means if it's Alpha Class then make 1-8 1-5 and make 9-10 6-10. You can duplicate these for each of your skills and update the ratio as your skills grow. Now for the next header.

Multiple Attempts for Multiple Successes Against a Single Target
This means you are intending on using a skill more than once on one target. Each of the attempts count. If you use three attacks and they all succeed, then you have successfully used three attacks. Once again, exchange YourName with your character's name and InsertSkill with one of your skills. Also, exchange InsertNumber with the number of the attack. If you use the skill three times then you will post this three times, the first numbers 1, the second 2 and the third 3. Remember, this only works with skills that can be used multiple times. Feel free to duplicate this for each applicable skill as well.

Multiple Attempts for Multiple Successes Against Multiple Targets
This means you are unleashing a barrage of attacks against a number of enemies. You'll exchange YourName with your character's name, InsertSkill with one of your skills, InsertTarget with the name of the target, and InsertNumber with the number of the target. The name of the target might be simple, like robot. If the target's all have a name you may drop the target number. If you will be attacking each target more than once make sure to add the attack number after the skill name. Duplicate this as necessary.

Attacking With Generic Attacks, Single Use
Generic skills are things like punches and kicks. All of these skills are always Alpha and never grow. You will exchange YourName with your character's name and GenericAttack with the type of attack, such as punch. Duplicate as necessary.

Attacking With Generic Attacks Multiple Times Against a Single Target
This means that you are attacking one target multiple times with a Generic Attack. Exchange YourName with your character's name, GenericAttack with the type of attack and InsertNumber with the number of the attack. Remember these skills never grow so the ratio stays the same. Duplicate as necessary.

Attacking With Generic Attacks Multiple Times Against Multiple Targets
This means you are attacking multiple targets with multiple attacks. Exchange YourName with your character's name, GenericAttack with the type of attack, InsertTarget with the name of the target and InsertNumber with the number of the target. Once again, if the target's each have definitive names you may drop the target number. Also, if you are attacking each one more than once, add a number afte the type of attack.

Blocking Generic Attacks, Single Use
This is your basic blocking skill, just like generic attacks, this never levels up and is used against Generic Skills, primarily. There may be other reasons to use this. Now, exchange YourName with your character's name, GenericAttack with the type of attack you are blocking and InsertTarget with the name of the target attacking you.

Blocking Generic Attacks Multiple Times From a Single Target
Remember you can attempt to block all Generic Skills that are successful against you, in some cases you can even block Skills. (Speak to your Admins when you feel this may be necessary) Exchange YourName with your character's name, GenericAttack with the type of attack you are attempting to block, InsertNumber with the number of the successful attack you are trying to block and InsertTarget with the name of the target attacking you.

Blocking Generic Attacks Multiple Times From Multiple Targets
When blocking from multiple targets, use this code. Exchange YourName with your character's name, GenericAttack with the type of attack you are blocking, if you're blocking multiples of an attack exchange the first InsertNumber with the number of the successful attack you are blocking, exchange InsertTarget with the name of the target and if it applies change the last InsertNumber with the number of the target you are blocking. If one of the numbers does not apply remove the number.

Finally add the code for your hud to the bottom of this template. Save this template or transfer it to any document type you are comfortable with. Save this on every computer you may post from. Remember, all posts not using this coding will be deleted from now on.

Finally sometimes you may roll for something not listed, and that's okay. If you are unsure of something, contact an Admin first. You can contact us here or on Facebook. On this site the Admins are Epoch, Aquilo and Doctor Weird. On Facebook we are Dylan, Paul and Brett.
