How could you play with lives so reckl-" The grenade exploded, taking with it much of Loren's skull, ear, face and eye. He toppled and died instantly.

He watched the two strolling through Munich. What strange children we have, he thought with his leprechaun-like voice. They were certainly the pair he was sent to stalk. Live or die was the operative. Not himself, of course, but them. The targets: Ditto and Keiran, fledglings in their powers, one more adept than the other. The UMC wanted them dead or successful. Luckily, Trickster could provide that, regardless of circumstances.

He was an older man, about sixty, to him everyone was a child. He adjusted his green bowler's cap, and fidgeted in his green suit. It was time to make an entrance. He spun his shillelagh and blew back a shock of gingered hair. "Children," he said, stepping before the two, "My name is Trickster, I have been sent to kill you." He smiled widely his eyes white through his highway mask.

He feels something instantly snap inside of him. He grits his teeth as his body begins to coat quickly with iron. In a mere instant, his body becomes shiny and hard. Vittra’s attack then hits directly where it was supposed to.

A loud metallic thud resonates around as Vittras fist smashes into Skylar. His feet sink even deeper into the earth now, but he stands his ground. He turns around and, just as quickly as it came, the metal disappears from his body. He looks directly at vittra and knows one more attack is all it should take. Skylar just wants this fight to be over. He inhales deeply, one of his feet is still firmly rooted in the earth while the other is out of it now, on top of the soil. He still has control of both however. The vibrations begin to gather in his lungs and in his feet. Please, let this end it. Skylar roars out.

Azriel made his jump as the giant Epic Loren began to curse at the pair and fumbled to get the grenade out of his ear. Too late the grenade went off killing him instantly. Azriel helped Ike to his feet.

"I suggest we get lost very quickly before more show up."

Azriel moved down an ally way out of site from the scene of the fight, beckoning Ike to follow.

This thick accented senior was no ordinary being, even stranger was that Keiran could almost feel the man’s immense power without even touching him. This man seemed almost inhumanly confident in himself, as if he had no fear of his opponents what so ever. Keirans mind began to race, pondering who or what this odd character could be.

Is this what the UMC sent us here for? If so…why?

Keiran sternly voiced his concern to his younger partner, maintaining his gaze on this peculiar opponent.

“Tobias, this is no ordinary opponent. It’s time to be serious now, be prepared for anything.”

Outstretching his arm, Keiran clasped his hand around Ditto’s left forearm.

The prison shook with a violence, one of which none of the inhabitants had ever known. In an incredible flash the building was surging with ice. Top to bottom, wall to wall, the ice consumed everything. No sounds could be heard but the ice settling and cracking, like timbers of a tree. Everyone was still, they all seemed dead. Suddenly, two bodies writhed. Prosper and Nimo, now somehow together, lift themselves, shivering on the floor.

Epic Loren has fallen. In the excitement, Ike and Darksky have been separated. No one knows where Ike has gone. Darksky now stands in front of the fallen apothecary. He has made his way to Skylar's location. Lucky for Skylar the little imp, Vittra now lays on the ruined floor, motionless. Strawberry resided in her dome.

Out near Doctor Weird, Overgrowth is still sparring off against the pair. One nasty vine remained as it wriggled before them. (It would still Be Tang's turn) The Doctor is speaking to a red haired man in a bloody lab coat, as the roar of an airplane circles overhead.

Ditto and Keiran are facing off against a strange green and orange foe. Who is he? Where did he come from?

“Hey, Apothecary, I know you can hear me, or I think you can at least. This guy is going to need some medical supplies and I am absolutely no good with healing salves and the like. I already told you im not going to hurt you, I intend to keep my word.” Skylar looks down at Vittra. “This guy fought hard for you, I didn’t want to fight him at all. Can you come out and patch him up?”

Alyson let her Glamour fall. At the same time, she let her field fade as well. She had felt so strong, but now felt so weak. The American was far stronger than she could have anticipated. She had failed, and so had her valiant defender. She now clutched onto Fievel who was hissing at Skylar. He could now see her for who she was, and she felt vulnerable.

"Please - Please don't kill me." She muttered in fear, "I have lost, the skull is yours. This failure is a fate, far worse than death, I assure you. Take the skull and leave. I swore my life to defend it and now I know I was not prepared for this event. Take it and know that it is now your responsibility." Alyson choked a bit as she began to cry, "Never. Never touch it!"

It will keep the fear at bay." She hands out a Courage ring. "The skull is wrapped in silk. Do not touch it. This should keep your fear under control, though. Now leave!"

Dr. Weird watched as Tang Le took out the last vine, but that victory was short lived. After some small banter Overgrowth attacked again growing vines on Tang Le.

‘If this keeps up we’re going to be in trouble.’ He thought to himself. ‘If only I had had some Round-Up, or a shovel to bury this weed.’

At this point Dr. Weird began to sense something, it was like a new sense. He could feel other machines nearby, and he could reach out to them. A smile formed on his bloody face.

“That is a very lovey talent you have there. A being made of entirely living flora and fauna, and even a master to freely control and generate vines. I love it, this is why I got into this business. If only we could have met under better circumstances I would have loved to study you a bit.”

Overgrowth was appalled, this man whom she had been engaged in combat with was chatting her up. “Like hell I would give you the chance, but if you want to see me I will gladly oblige you.”

“On the contrary, I would like to show you what I can do.”

“What?”

Just then an unmanned bulldozer that had been parked at the construction site next door came crashing through the wall and was speeding towards Overgrowth. She was taken by surprise at first but managed to jump out of the way leaving it to crash into the building next door.

“That all you got?” She boasted, but Dr. Weird just pointed up. As soon as she looked up a 5,000 lb wrecking ball landed on her.

“No my dear, I have a whole lot more, more that you will ever know.”

Wigraf was growing impatient. The airplane was taking too long to reach its' destination. But, finally, the time was right. Like Wigraf planned he was near the emergency door. "The poor fools won't know what to think," thought Wigraf evilly. Wigraf stood up and easily kicked the emergency door of its hinges and was sucked out of the airplane. He could hear the screams of the passengers as he fell down through the air, the noise fading away as he fell further down.

With a crash and a cloud of dust, Wigraf hit the ground and slowly walked away from the site of impact. He made his way toward Dr. Weird and his quarry Tolpki. Without saying a word, Wigraf walked up to Tolpki and with a sinister smile, touched Tolpki on the forehead. Tolpki's features started turning grey and hardened. After Tolpki was completely petrified, Wigraf turned to Dr. Weird and said, "Pleased to meet you Dr. Weird, I'm Wigraf. How do you like me so far?"

Skylar sighs as the woman practically yells at him. He takes the ring she offers and puts it on as he stands straight up. He no longer wishes to burden her with his presence. He grabs the silk wrapped skull with one hand and tucks his other into his pocket.

“I told you I wouldn’t hurt you. If we meet again, that will still apply. I will take this burden you would of given your life for, and I will carry it now. “

Skylar walks through the rubble, away from Strawberry. He glances down at the ring on his hand and wonders why anyone would go to such lengths for a damned crystal skull.

“What, now we all just fall from the sky.” Dr. Weird shouted. He paused for a moment and then looked over the “new guy”.

“Well, I’ll give your entrance a 9, landing a 7.5, and your demonstration of skill a 10. So now that you have my attention, what can I do for you Man from the Sky?” Dr. Weird asked as he moved over to Tang Le to help remove the vines from her.
