Two missiles managed to make quick turn. Quickly they resumed their course for Nimo and Meniere. The remaining missile failed and exploded violently in the face of a Destroyer Droid, toppling it and destroying it.

The three that were en route to Skylar and the Mercenaries were nearly there.

The small amount of relief that Toby felt as two of the rockets flew off in the wrong direction was curbed by the fact that one of them had decided to follow Skylar.

The missile was instantly at their heels, and Skylar seemed the only one capable of stopping it. Ditto was met with a feeling of dismay as seismic waves issued from the new guy’s hands. “THAT SEEMS LIKE A GREAT WAY TO STOP A MISSLE.” Said the shape shifter sarcastically to himself.

The technique did stop the projectile, but it didn’t stop the subsequent explosion.

Ditto attempts to avoid serious injury from the blast: 1-5 is a failure whilst 6-10 is a success.

Keiran let out an exasperated gasp as a missile roared past him, barely missing its mark. It seemed as though his partner had lucked out as well, the second missile zooming over Tobias’ ruffled back. Just as Keiran had regained his baring a sonic boom, followed by a shockwave of momentous force struck him. The third missile had been stopped by the shady additional member of the crew, but the resulting explosion had sent out a wave of devastation throughout the immediate area.

The massive force flung Keiran off his feet and into the air. Time instantly came to a near crawl as Keiran attempted to recover at impact.

In an instant, Keiran made violent impact with the grassy lawn. The solid ground only mitigated Keiran’s momentum so much as he skipped along the terrain like a stone skipping atop a body of water. The veteran’s bones bent to and fro, resisting the massive impact acting upon them. After five skips Keiran came to an abrupt stop, skidding against the dew covered grass of the White House lawn.

Disorientation overcame Keiran as he attempted to regain his equilibrium, rising to his feet mostly unscathed thanks to his increased durability.

Keiran shifted his gaze towards Skylar as his double vision refocused. The young man laid against the ground, looking somewhat dazed. Keeping partial attention on the battle droids, Keiran made his way to the youth’s aid, assuming that his partner was likely fine.

Skylar laid on his back after the explosion sent him back. He slowly sat up and shook his head. He knows he can’t let the group take too many of those. He puts his hands on the sides of his head and uses his own vibrations to clear his head and bring him back to reality. He sees Keiran coming near him yet he shakes his hand, stating he is okay. Skylar grits his teeth as he stands up straight, his balance only slightly gone at this point.

“Guess I need to be serious against this type of droid” Skylar growls under his voice.

Keiran continued his stride, despite the young man’s newly composed demeanor. As Keiran came within physical proximity he reached his hand out, firmly grasping the youth’s forearm.

A multitude of images of pure unrelenting power filled Keiran’s mind. The Earth itself trembled at its foundations, molten bursting from the ruptures in the ground. Walls shook apart, seemingly kneeling to an extreme force of power. Amongst the devastation, a metal formed being stood atop a crag, roaring in violent content.

“Don’t worry kid; this will only take a moment.”

After knocking the missile aside, Prosper paused a moment to look around.

It must have appeared rather humorous, a dog flying through the air on fiery winds… Toby would have begged to differ though. He seemed suspended in limbo for what seemed like eternity. For a moment, he wondered if he would have had time to turn into a bird – or maybe a cat, at least he would have landed on his feet. Instead, he was thrown into a long sequence of barrel rolls, finally skidding to a stop not too far from his partners.

The pain was something he had gotten used to, and getting back up on all four feet was almost effortless thanks to his durability. Toby then proceeded to trot over to Skylar and Keiran, dropping his feral form as he came upon them.

“I don’t think I have an animal in my arsenal that’s big or bad enough for these robots, guys. Can I help in some other way? I can give you wings, a shield, boobs…”

Bumelia looked around. "You have got to be fucking with me" she thought. Looking around her, she noted some trees lining the yard. So, robots and missiles, and all I can do is take a swing at 'em with a mother fucking tree branch? Bumelia watched in disbelief as her new partners and the strangers went to work on these pieces of tech. She slowly started creeping towards the White House to see what she could start on as far as getting inside the building. Please keep these bots busy for me to get over here....

B was hoping that she could break through the doors by the time her partners finished up on the South Lawn and they could continue their hunt for the Dr.

Alyson watched with fright as the missiles were volleyed back and forth. One had erupted behind her and tossed the three on comers like toys. Another projectile was headed straight for Nimo, but she did not move. Alyson only held her footing. She reached into her rucksack and removed some bleached sand. She quickly drew a large circle and sat within it on her knees. It was then that she witnessed Bumelia trying to make he way past the bots.

The missile rocketed toward Nimo who was ill prepared for the projectile. He tried to cover his face in a sad attempt at protection. The rocket knocked into him and sent him flying backward, into the soil. He was not dead. In fact there wasn't even an explosion. What there was, was flowers. Flowers everywhere. They burst like fireworks around the perimeter and bounced gingerly in the grass. The amulet had worked and now had nine uses left.

Meanwhile, the two suits attempted to dodge the robotic onslaught of Doctor Weird.

Keiran suddenly felt a massive spike of energy pulsate throughout his body. A strange new connection with the earth around him resonated through his very bones; It was an exhilarating feeling that Keiran had never felt before with any other power. Standing steadfast, Keiran was prepared to take on the heavily armed battle droids.

Just as Keiran was prepared to send the bots a generous helping of earthen fury, Tobias' voice rung out from behind. Keiran shouted out in response to the young cadet.

"If you can give me some more standing stability that would be great! It's about to get real unstable here!"

Running her hands down the trunk of the center tree and smooths out a large shield from the core of the tree. She hoised that onto her upper arm as an extra barrier and ripped another tree from the ground. She shook the leaves from the boughs and prepped her stance for her return. Time to fucking Hulk out Bitch! she thought to herself. She marched back the the group holding her prizes and looked for an opening to take a swing. After the missiles had been launched Bumelia shouted at the closest droid. "Batter up!"

The droid that had grabbed the Suit by the arm and broke it, slammed the Suit against the wall as he screamed.

The other suit wasn’t so lucky. The droid that had a clamp on his throat crushed his wind pipe. When he let go the suit just dropped to the floor, dead.

Dr. Weird walked over and stood over the remains of the two men. While only the one was dead the other was just slammed into the wall now on the floor. He picked up the guns and looked them over.

“Hmm, very nice design though it does seem under powered with this wiring.”

He took the gun and pointed it at the crippled suit and pulled the trigger. The gun fired killing the suit. After he picked the other gun and tossed it over to Tang Le.

“Hold on to this for me.” He then pulled out a marker and began writing on the wall.

HA HA HA NOW I GOT A GUN!

He put the marker away, and shouldered the other gun. “Lets press on now then shall we.” Dr. Weird and the three Grappler Droids began to move up the stairs.
