The group progressed slowly down the hall, something was not right. Dr. Weird could feel it. He had the Grappler droids walking out in front. To great anything that might pop out at them.

‘This is too easy where the hell is everyone.’

With the rifle still slung over his shoulder Dr. Weird stopped where he was and held the cane up to signal the rest of the group to stop as well.

Dr. Weird ends with pointing his cane directly at the new Suit. As the Grapple droids formed up in front to form a wall between the two.

The Grapple Droid missed, it rolled by Indrid by a matter of inches.

“Crap gutter ball.” Said Dr. Weird

As the droid rolled passed Indrid he bounced off a wall. When it did it popped up in the air and opened up to its combat form. It then attempted to land on Indrid.

Indrid almost laughed at the failing robot. He stepped toward the droid that had lunged and simply grabbed it by the grappler arms and held them back. He put a polished shoe on the droid and pulled with all his normal, human, might.

Indrid faced Doctor Weird and his two companions. It was a cold battle that left the doctor quite bewildered. Outside the battle raged on with much calamity, but the doctor, Wigraf and Tang Le focused on the man at hand.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Epoch had quickly dispatched of Bruce and his his cohorts. Though quick, it was tiring, and Epoch was winded. Bruce headed down the stairs he came from with his companions and scoffed at Epoch. It was bitter.

Just then, Bumelia and Strawberry burst through the entryway. They made the unfortunate announcement that one of the Destroyer Droids managed do defeat Nimo, Prosper, Skylar and the Mercenaries. It captured them and somehow rocketed off into the sky, most likely taking them to a highly secretive Human Mutation Research Facility for holding and perhaps worse.

Epoch was saddened at the news but urged the girls to forge onward with him. What would they find if they went up the stairs?

Indrid grabbed hold oh the Grappler droid, and to be honest it made Dr. Weird laugh.

“What is it you think you are doing?” he taunted with a chuckle.

The droid grabbed hold of Indrid with clamps and began to squeeze. For some reason his arms weren’t breaking. This was going to be an eternal struggle so Dr. Weird decided to step in he raised the rifle and took aim.

Indrid watched patiently as the shock bolt struck him directly in the chest. It made his shoulders reel a bit, and smelled like burning iron, or perhaps bacon. He grimaced and looked down at his perfectly unscathed suit. No harm would befall it, or him.

"Nice try, doctor, but you'll not have any enjoyment from me today," said Indrid coldly. The droids subsided slightly, waiting for another command. "I will never occupy your excitement."

Dr. Weird just laughed at Indrids remark. Not only was he unhurt his suit that he was wearing was unscathed, practically still new.

“My dear man, or whatever you are. You have no idea how wrong you are. To me individuals like yourself are the most entertaining. Since you claim to know who I am you should know that.”

He gave the command for the droid to continue its assault. Everything here was being recorded and would be analyzed later. The droid then started flailing about with its arms trying to land a hit on Indrid.
