Entering the kitchen, Noah strokes his glorious beard. He smiles at Kyle as he crouches down low. A yellow plume of smoke seethes from his eye sockets.

"As sharp as a spike,

Ike grins over Kyle who clenches his own tongue. His teeth grind down and Ike laughs. "Not so soon, Kyle, not so soon." Kyle lets up on his tongue, leaving small toothy gouges in the muscle. At that point, Yilana walks in.

The smoke returns and Noah stands up.

The droids had made the trek in no time at all. They were some two hundred yards away but their size made them feel much closer.

Aquilo decided they would be better off with more fortifications near by rather than trying to slow the droids. Epoch had jumped on the offense right away and Akvo was impressed. Epoch had launched a five foot orb of energy, with excellent accuracy, and at an incredible distance.

Can't let him show me up… time to make some more defensive ice spires….

The ground cracks and moves even more to make large rifts in the road, large enough now to act as cover from guns if he fails at disabling them. He knows one of his roars will destroy the bots but he makes three attempts in hope to disable the guns as well.

The bots were ever nearing. Before Epoch and Aquilo stood six icy edifices in a shield-esque semicircle. Through their cloudy blue sheen, they shone like mirrors in the ever rising morning sun. Destroyer droids were multiplied through them, a kaleidescope of impending doom.

"If you want to stay down here and hold a defensive assault, I can go high and try my best offense, perhaps we can split their attention enough to keep the wool pulled over their eyes." Epoch said, thankful for the icy spires. They might not be impervious, but they can most definitely take the blasts of those rockets instead of Epoch and Aquilo.

The fourth Destroyer Droid was hot hard by two blasts to it's front and left knee each. The metal screamed and tore. The droid came leaning forward, as epoch thought his attack foolish. It would fall on other droids, however, it would probably hit Epoch.

With luck, however, the droid retained enough intelligence to pivot on its remaining leg to fall backward. It was obvious that it had no intention of crushing any of its allies.

The two somewhat slowed bots, bots 1 and 5, proceeded forward. Bot 1 lashed out, trying, this time, not to grab Epoch, but to batter him.

The shiny black metal crushed like little more than tin foil under the weight of the bot. There was no way to know if it had been completely decommissioned though. Worst case scenario it might have rockets left over.

Aquilo watched as Epoch teleported from spire to spire avoiding the bots. It seemed they were too distracted by the moving object that was destroying them to notice the ice cube on the floor.

I could leave them alone and they won't know i'm here, perfect for catching them by surprise… but I might be better off putting that bot out of our misery….

Akvo lifted his heavily armored arms and attempted to fire.

Let's just hope they're too concerned with the hummingbird up there to notice my attack….

Epoch saw Aquilo shoot his icicles into the droid on the ground, it appeared as a good attempt in securing the bot's fate.

Destroyer Droid 1 missed Epoch luckily on his last teleport, but he did not know how long he could keep up the teleporting game before the droids did something more drastic. They all moved in closer, even the slowed ones, but bot 1 and 5 came the closest. Epoch could hear something that resembled beeping as bot 1 signaled something to bot 5. Bot 5 raised a claw and it came raking down the ice, practically sculpting it.

Epoch struggled to keep his footing. "You need to completely stop a few of them," Epoch said, "they figured out the spires."

Aiming for the similarly weak appearing joint, Epoch thought to amputate the arm that tried to destroy the ice.

The things were fierce and diligent. They weren't going to stop just because of some ice half their size. Their claws were only strong enough to shave the ice right away but after a few blunt attacks they would shatter.

The attack caused a sudden light burst of snow, in the right circumstances it would have been pretty. Unfortunately the circumstances couldn't have been much worse.

Akvo raised his arms towards droids 1 and 5, they were the primary targets. If he could successfully land two more freeze beams they would be stuck to the ground.

Destroyer Droid 5 became completely disarmed (pun intended). Epoch smirked and noticed as the stopped bot 1 who was slowly raising its right arm, the rocket hatch was slowly opening, it seemed as if it was spending most of it's energy shifting it's knees, trying to free itself.

Ike spun around, surprised a little by Yilana's sudden appearance. He looked back at Kyle, then to Yilana, then back again, then Yilana again. Ike raised an eyebrow and smiled a little then replied with,".........science?"

Yilana clenched her jaw and couldn't stop her growl vibrating against her throat. "What kind of fucking answer is that?" She stomped over to Ike and grabbed him by the collar. "How is THIS science?! Huh?!" She peered over her shoulder to look at the distraught and tortured man on the table, his eyes wandering, not sure where to focus. Yilana blinked and looked at Ike, then pushed him away. "I... I can't..." She rushed over to a trashcan and puked out the contents of what she ate before. She could not hold in the feeling of being in the poor tortured soul on the table, for she remembered the times she was in the lab in Korea.

After her body decided that it was over, she went over to the sink and swished water in her mouth from a cup and spat back in the trashcan. She looked over at Ike and cleared her throat. "I'm sorry for bursting. I have a bad tendency of doing that. I'm just not used to seeing someone being tortured when I used to be the one on the other side." She gagged and spat into the trashcan again and wiped her mouth with a paper towel. "Ugh, this day is going to suck."

He lumbered over towards a better position. At the rate he was moving he wouldn't be able to get to a viable firing point in time. He decided to let down his ice armor for the time being.

It cracked in several places and fell to the ground as he ran. He aimed straight at the hatch not knowing when it would fire or if Epoch would be able to teleport away.

Aquilo had shot three freeze beams rapid fire, each one of them building a massive ice block around the missile hatch.

Unfortunately, for Droid 1, it had still attempted to fire it's missiles. This caused it to detonate and fall backwards, raining a shower of ice and metal on the ground some forty feet away from Aquilo.

"I need to redeploy my armor if I'm going to be able to take blasts like that…."

The blast shook out from the droid. It burst the ice encasing the arm and the blast blew chucks off of the facing of the droid. Three rockets caused quite a boom, but then one would have to add that all of the mechanics within the arm.

Epoch struggled on his roost and lost his footing. He began to fall toward the ground and he frantically tried to teleport.
