Beautiful architecture rose up from both sides of the broad street the unusual duo traversed. The sidewalks where sparse in civilians and the city was unusually quiet, giving Keiran a slight feeling of unease.

“We’ve been aimlessly wandering around for two hours now! Damn the UMC and their cryptic mission documents; no briefing on what our purpose here is, none at all.”

Glancing over to his left, Keiran spotted his companion entranced within his handheld game, barely even paying attention to where he was walking. Inwardly sighing, Keiran began to ponder the seeming insignificance of the mission thus far.

Part of him was kind of offended. “I can’t be that poor of company.” Scoffed Ditto inwardly, sliding his console into a small messenger back he had picked up at one of the shops earlier.

Letting out a snort towards his partner’s request, Tobias offered his hand.
“Oh, it’s alright, Keiran, my love. I know a foreign city can be scary, but do not fret; I will protect you.”
