"Yes, hold for a moment please." Le covered the the reciever and waited for the doctor's laughter to subside. She opened her mouth to speak, but he turned to them and said something about the end being near. She waited just a beat more. "Right then, is that all for this mission Doctor? I am going to go to my room and finish this call, meet with my man, and then lock myself in a training room. Let me know when you need me for another mission." She had been backing away as she said all this and slipped through the door without giving him the chance to confirm the missions end. Now that they were back, Le was eager to get some training in. "Where were we then? Ah yes, you were saying something about figures."

Epoch helps hoist Bumelia to her feet. The two walk together and meet Prosper in the cafeteria, where he is eating a large burger. Quantum walks in with Nimo. The two were discussing the coordinates of many wrongly imprisoned Endowed people. Epoch was nearly feeling himself again. He was about to dive into a plate full of burritos drizzled in gravy. They usually hit the spot when he wasn't craving something more wholesome. He had a heaping scoop, but it landed back on the plate as Quantum rubbed his eyes and brought up the news about Aquilo's possible demise. Epoch did not cry, he only huffed and stared at Bumelia, Nimo, and Prosper. These three would have to be replacements yet again. How many partners would he go through?

Doctor Weird's Lab
Badlands, SD
10:18 AM MT

Doctor Weird was in a deep room of his lab. Well within the numerous sub-basements, he seemed to be going mad. Perhaps madder than he had been before. With his bare hands grasping the skull, he laughed under a dim, flashing, red, light. There was a small obelisk in the middle of the room. Mechanical bits and wires were strewn everywhere. Upon the obelisk, he placed the skull. Motors whirred as the skull was grasped by three mechanical claws. It sank slightly into the obelisk, and a glass dome grew over it. A white gas filled the dome to sterilize it and glass ensured it would stay that way.

Tang was wrapping up her phone call as Steve offered a training room to her. She accepted as she severed the call. She needed to beef up for whatever lied ahead of her.

Wigraf wandered the areas he had access to. This place seemed so different from what he knew. It was as if he was in another world. Like a madman, he spoke to a disembodied voice that guided him. It fed him, and monitored his vital signs. It knew more than it should. Eventually it led him to a room filled with strange metal soldiers. They were short in stature and piloted by gears and copper threads. They fought well, but fell even better. He realized that this relationship with the doctor might be a good one.

Somewhere in Munich

Trickster laughed. He stood over two brutally wounded mercenaries. Replicator and Ditto were floored. Replicator lay prostrate on the cobblestone, and Ditto on his rear, rubbing his head. They had given in. "You two are weak, but I like you. You can live, for now." He said as he took a beautiful gold coin from his pocket and began to flip it as he twirled his shillelagh.

Replicator and Ditto were mending their bruised ego's and bodies as they walked through the streets. Hidden in an alley they encountered a young man. He was American, and they felt he was special, especially when he wore flesh of metal. He called himself Skylar and told them of his story. They had heard the alias "Doctor Weird" before and were intrigued. Freely, they agreed to travel with him to America to locate the madman. They said they might also help him stop him.

In another corner of the city, Alyson was on her phone. She waited at the airport, holding a ticket tightly in her fingers. She had agreed to find the NSS and make herself stronger.
