Just then Epoch rang into Akvo's earpiece: "….Any thoughts?"

Aquilo mulled it over as he was fast approaching the fifth and final droid.

"I've got it! Teleport the two of us to our drop point, teleport back by yourself and one by one teleport the droids to the drop point while I start picking them off!" Akvo said with conviction.

There was silence on the line.

"Epoch?" Akvo asked.

Quantum decided to offer his opinion, "That is either exceedingly brilliant yet dangerous, or completely idiotic and still very dangerous."

Akvo dead stopped about ten feet away from droid number five.

"This town ain't big enough for the two of us."Aquilo said raising his hands towards the colossal machine.

Just after successfully shooting the fifth droid and making a shield of ice Epoch wheels around the corner and grabs Akvo.

And then a noise unlike any other that he had heard before engulfed him. He imagined that it was the same sound you hear when an astronaut hears when he suddenly loses his helmet.

There was a brilliant flash of a sepia environment and then after what felt like tens of seconds the duo landed in Sunnylane Park.

Epoch was agile and landed firmly. Aquilo landed on the balls of his feet, stumbled forward onto his knees, quickly removed his ceramic facemask, and vomited the granola bar he had eaten earlier.

He continued to wretch with one hand on the ground for balance. As Aquilo's sandwich from the night before left his mouth Epoch looked away. In between dry heaving Akvo blurted out "Continue… with… the plan!"

"Here you go, bud!" Epoch announced, jumping out of the way of the slightly disoriented droid. "Away I go!" he then teleported off.

The fifty foot tall droid barely gave Akvo enough time to wipe the spit from his mouth replace his facemask. It wasted little time looking for the speck that was once attached to it once it realized another familiar speck was on the ground.

It made it's way towards Aquilo which was, at best, a gut wrenching sight. He stood and said, "Are you one of the ones I poked or are you Epoch's?"

It didn't slow at all. Aquilo raised his hands and said, "You all look the same to me. But then again we all probably look the same to you."

When the droid was in mid stride he fired at it's planted leg.

With a jump, Epoch reached out for the leg of the one he had hurt earlier, its palm blown open.

Epoch arrives again in Sunnylane Park. "Hey -" he was cut off, noticing that Akvo had been grabbed by the beat of a machine that Epoch had left him to fight.

Running toward the droid holding Aquilo, and away from the one he had just transported, Epoch threw his hands forward, I should have more energy now, he thought. He knew two energy blasts should tear the hand open disabling it, four should tear that hand to ribbons.

"I think I might be draining!" Epoch shouted as only one of the blasts had gone off and hit the outside of the robotic hand grasping Aquilo. "You need to break free!" Epoch shouted, closing the distance between him and the droid holding Aquilo, the droid behind his was nearing in as well, recovered from its brief disorientation.

The claws wrapped around Aquilo had flinched, perhaps he could slip free.

Skylar looks back at him and sees four military hummers speeding from behind. He grits his teeth knowing a battle on the road will leave him dead due to his tinfoil-like car and their not so weak hummers. Skylar notices an off ramp one mile ahead. He takes the ramp up and at the top of the ramp, hits the breaks and slides to a stop before hopping out of his vehicle and turning to face the four hummers which come to a stop about 20 feet behind. The doors fly open and the troops and bots come out from the vehicles.

"Hey buuuuuuuuuuuddy!" Ike smiled widely. Kyle replied with muffled scream of terror and thrashing. Steve reacted with restraints built into the table. "DAMN!" Ike surprised at the table's ability. "I'm so glad you remember me, Kyyyyyyyyyyyyyyle!!"

"Epoch!" Quantum shouted, "The Destroyer Droids have a satellite up-link and are aware to where you are moving them. They are closing in on your location. You better help Aquilo and we'll let you know if they cause any issues along the way."

"Got it." Epoch looked to see Aquilo effectively slow one bot with the other boring down on him. The rear dented droid was almost free of its disoriented phase and Epoch was too close to it to help Aquilo directly. He turned and decided to take out the droid's eye for once. Epoch aimed practically vertically and tried to discharge two shots.

Quantum started in quickly, "Those droids move fast, they will be with you in about ten minutes."

A freeze beam creates a large block of ice around the elbow of the droid grasping Epoch.

The three icicles hit in rapid succession.
Shink.
The first damages the shoulder joint.
Chink.
The second causes the arm to hang from it's circuits.
Chunk.
The third was barely even necessary.

The weight of the ice surrounding the elbow caused the arm to sag and fall to the ground.

"You okay!?"Aquilo asked.
